House of Correction is closed as a jail. FY2026 testimony identifies the former ASD site as a training academy/fitness center; the visiting page still lists a conditional RCF ASDMOD3 schedule, so confirm any such assignment with PDP. DC visitors check in at RCF, 8151 State Rd. PICC’s September 25, 2026 notice confirms female housing despite an older men-only description. Federal FDC/RRM, Pennsylvania state community corrections, police holding and youth facilities are separate systems. The facility guide explains approved phone contacts for onsite visits, up to 2 adults and 2 children since June 1, 2026, and Maryland personal-mail scanning.

Usually Curran- Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF), (215) 685-7843. The arresting agency books the person and the jail holds them; ask the jail what holds are on the booking before you act on anything.
Not always. A probation or parole hold, another county\'s warrant, or an immigration detainer can keep someone in custody after bond is posted. Ask the jail what holds are on the booking, and ask the bondsman what happens if there are, before you pay.
Confirm the person\'s current facility, the visiting schedule, approval requirements, accepted identification and arrival instructions. Check the facility guide before you travel.
