Downtown Sacramento / Main Jail
Search Sheriff Inmate Information or call (916) 874-6752 and confirm this is the Main Jail, not Rio Cosumnes. Then use this guide for first-come visiting at 651 I Street, Securus Tampa mail, TouchPay / iCare money, and Securus phones. RCCC is 12500 Bruceville Road in Elk Grove. 4500 Orange Grove Avenue is not the visitor lobby.

Sacramento County Sheriff Inmate Information
Official Inmate Information (checked 2026-09-12): search by last name or X-reference number at sacsheriff.com/InmateInformation. X-reference search is SearchByXref.aspx. The page says charges shown are the most recent information known to the Sheriff and may change. Jail411 does not host inmate names. Read which building — Main Jail (this door, 651 I Street) or RCCC (12500 Bruceville Road, Elk Grove). Securus mail and TouchPay need the X-reference. The same hub links CDCR’s state-prison locator separately — CIRIS is not this jail. Sheriff Jim Cooper. If the search does not show the person, call (916) 874-6752.

Official Inmate Information: SIRENS lets victims and others register for email, text, or phone when custody status changes — use the SIRENS link on the inmate detail page, or call (916) 874-6752. Three things to confirm before the trip.
Main Jail social visits are first-come, first-served, time and space permitting. Confirm the person is at this jail — RCCC is a different building in Elk Grove with a different schedule.
- 01Confirm Main Jail
Search sacsheriff.com/InmateInformation or call (916) 874-6752.
The roster must show this jail. If the person is at Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center, use 12500 Bruceville Road, Elk Grove — not 651 I Street.
