Release and property

Bail, property, and commissary pickup

01Bail at this jail

Post here, not at Todd Road

The Sheriff directs cash (exact amount), cashier's checks, bail bonds, and GovPayNet credit/debit payments to this Pre-Trial Detention Facility. For GovPayNet use PLC 6404 or 1-888-604-7888. Posting a bond does not guarantee release if a probation hold, parole hold, or another warrant applies. California law limits ICE holds alone. This is the process, not a bondsman directory.

02Personal property

Pickup rules are not published

Facility-specific property release and release pickup are not published on the reviewed Sheriff pages. Call (805) 654-3335.

03After release

Not published

Facility-specific commissary limits and after-release commissary pickup are not published on the reviewed Sheriff pages.

After booking

Court, a lawyer, probation, and parole.

Court, counsel, and probation are separate from the jail. State parole is a different agency. This is the process a family actually has to walk—not a directory of private bondsmen or attorneys.

01 Same campus

Confirm which courthouse

This jail sits at the Government Center with Hall of Justice. Confirm the assigned courthouse on the case record — East County in Simi Valley and Juvenile Justice Center in Oxnard are different buildings. Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. except holidays.

Use the court’s case inquiry for the calendar. Jail411 does not have this case’s courtroom.

02 Appointed counsel

Ask at first appearance

The judge appoints the Public Defender. Families do not apply before the first court date.

Adult cases: Hall of Justice Room 207, (805) 654-2201, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Juvenile: 4353 Vineyard Room 296, (805) 981-5990, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., paralegal walk-ins 8:30–11:00 a.m. and 1:30–4:00 p.m. The JJC courthouse is 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

(805) 654-2201

03 County supervision

Use the assigned office

A probation hold can block release even after bail is posted. Report only to the office the probation officer assigned.

Call Administration (805) 654-2106, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., before appearing if the assigned office is unclear. The Camarillo staff-training site is not a public reporting office. County probation is not CDCR parole.

(805) 654-2106

04 State parole, not county

No Ventura parole office in our records

le_master and county NOTES do not list a Ventura County CDCR parole office. State parole is not county probation. Report to the office named in the release papers.

Clear information.
Clear boundaries.

Jail411 is an independent information resource for families and friends. We are not a government agency, jail operator, law firm or live custody-records service.

Can Jail411 tell me if someone is in custody right now?

No. Jail411 does not hold live custody records. Use the official locator for the county, state, federal or ICE system that has the person; start here if you do not know which.

Does posting bond mean the person comes home?

Not always. A probation or parole hold, another county's warrant or an immigration detainer can keep someone in custody after bond is posted. Ask the jail what holds are on the booking before you pay.

What should I confirm before visiting?

The person's current facility, the visiting schedule, approval requirements, accepted identification and arrival instructions. Check the facility page and its official sources before you travel.

What if I find something that needs correcting?

Send us the page and the detail that needs attention. Include the official source when you have one. Do not send private booking documents or other sensitive personal information.
